A fairly decent story follows Styx through nine missions over roughly 15 hours as he buddies up with a group that's nominally committed to the eradication of his race and quickly leads down deeper rabbit holes. None of the characters are particularly awful, but Styx himself is so wonderfully far ahead of them in terms of characterization, voice acting, animation, and humor that just listening to the audio feels a bit like listening to a Mystery Science Theater 3000 viewing of a straight-faced film. He's a weirdly appealing foil to all the dour folks around him, all of whom are trying to swindle each other for control of the precious amber so much of this world – including stealth abilities – runs on. In cutscenes and in fourth-wall breaking remarks he comes off as the only person who's really getting the joke, kind of like a small green Deadpool. With the death scenes I think some more liberties can be taken since its a bit more out of the game itself.“Some folks will hate him and his foul-mouthed Family Guy-caliber quips, but I love him. These coincidences are getting too good to be true." Was one where styx said"I am going to have to talk to the writers. Not bad as the others, but at least its relevent. I am also not quite so sure that the one insulting that guy from assassins creed was a good one either.

No idea what the writers were thinking because the old game had some witty stuff but never anything that out of line

Oh yeah those lines and a few others outside the deathscenes are a bit weird.

Just about all of his other 4 wall breaking lines I think build his character and personality well.

And the first one references a sci fi character. You waiting for a tarzan yell.? Mainly because both of these lines don't seem to make sense within the context of the universe and happen directly while playing. The only lines by him I have a real issue with some of his first two lines.
